I know this picture was popular, so I'm resubmitting it from my old account.
Drawn in 2005, this started as a doodle I worked on every night, and eventually turned into a design for ceremonial wear. This particular race I've called Ovisians, and this character is a very old one of mine. He is called Tao (yes, I said he!!), and he's the son of a very powerful province lord.
The 'Arjuna: Into the Another World' soundtrack was a massive influence on this picture, in particular the songs 'Diving', 'Time to Die' and 'The Clone'.
