_{It's so cliche to say choosing winners was a tough decision, but lol, no, really, it WAS a tough decision. Over 180 entries altogether and some truly fantastic concepts did NOT make it easy. But, I've come to final decisions for both the Park and Mai concepts. So here they are!!

Park by

This was a design I immediately fell in love with. The simple lines and colours of the outfit, coupled with the cute piercings and haircut won me over hardcore. Not only does he look great, but I get the feeling this particular Park has a similar personality to Kim, which works excellently when they are part of the same group. Maybe slightly more hyperactive, compensating for Kim's egotistical passivity.

Mai by

I found Mai a bigger challenge to settle on as I was looking specifically for super-retro designs. But, I always kept coming back to this submission, especially the casual outfit. I adore the rockabilly retro look she's got going off, with that punk theme being carried through the group with her koi tattoo. She is a more relaxed concept for Mai in comparison to others, which I think will work well for the student environment the characters are set in. She also seems to be the type of chick Kim would dig :3

I was going to feature a special mention section, but I found it too difficult to single out yet more concepts from the submissions. But there were lots of designs which made the shortlist. I'll contact the two winners individually in the next few days about their prizes.
I shall hopefully be drawing the characters myself soon, so keep watching my gallery n_~

Congrats to the winners! I love that particular Park design as well so I'm happy to see it there ^^. Also the Mai looks really good and I love that tattoo.

So congrats again to the winners and to all who entered

. Can't wait to see them drawn in your style Bonhwa!

And while many are sad they didn't win, I'm just really glad I entered

. I was motivated and got my inspiration back. (and drew a guy I'm proud of
